There were many Jewish people that decided to move to the United States, for one reason or another. Here is a list of some of the first families that immigrated to North Adams, Massachusetts:

Some of the families listed above still have ancestors and other family members, who continue to live in North Adams. Others, have moved out of the city but still remain close.
